Safety & Compliance Guidelines
At Synergy HP Gas, safety is our top priority. We strictly adhere to the Government of India’s LPG safety regulations to ensure secure handling, storage, and usage of LPG for commercial and industrial clients.
Storage & Handling
✔️ Store in well-ventilated areas, away from heat & flames.
✔️ Keep cylinders upright on a stable surface.
✔️ No storage in basements or enclosed spaces.
✔️ Keep away from electrical equipment & flammable materials.
Installation & Usage
✔️ Only certified technicians should install LPG systems.
✔️ Use approved hoses & regulators (BIS certified).
✔️ Never tamper with valves, fittings, or safety devices.
Safety Precautions
✔️ Check for leaks with soap solution (never use flame).
✔️ If leaking, shut off supply, ventilate, and call for help.
✔️ Train staff on LPG safety & emergency protocols.
✔️ Install gas leak detectors where applicable.
Emergency Actions
✔️ Smell gas? Turn off supply, avoid electrical switches, evacuate.
✔️ Call fire department (101) & LPG emergency helpline.
✔️ Use dry powder/CO₂ extinguishers (never water)
✔️ Maintain an emergency action plan.
Compliance & Regulations
✔️ Adhere to PESO, OISD-162 & NBC fire safety norms.
✔️ Use only from authorized LPG distributors like Synergy HP Gas.
